The Mission of Turning Point Group:
The mission of Turning Point Group is to help people make successful life transitions, reconciling life stories and experience that may no longer have meaning. We help integrate mind, body and spirit providing community and individual healing events, training for professionals in private retreats and pilgrimage particularly focusing on recovery from trauma. Our work is experiential, non-denominational, non-sectarian and interfaith. We work with people of all faiths and those with no faith at all.
Using the effective, efficient symbol of a labyrinth / Honor Walk, symbolizing the Hero’s and Heroine’s journey, we help people move into new life.
Turning Point Group has had extensive experience for over 15 years in the effective and efficient use of labyrinth / Honor Walk as a concrete symbol of life’s journey in our work addressing Suicide Prevention, Sexual Abuse, Addiction, PTSD, Moral Injury and grief. This work relies on experience, best practices and research, particularly that of narrative therapists, Michael Wright and David Epston and the Somatic Experiencing work of Dr. Peter Levine and Dr. Bessel van der Kolk.
We cannot medicate away ‘soul pain’ and the work of Turning Point Group helps to integrate mind, body and spirit in a non-denominational, non-sectarian modality providing community and individual healing events, training for professionals, private retreats and pilgrimage.
Here’s a picture of the an annual Honor Walk we hold at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center under the space shuttle. We hold it near the anniversary of 9/11 to honor our service men and women, the Fallen, all our First Responders and their families:

Pilgrimage & Retreats:
Our small pilgrim groups travel ancient paths to sacred sites which have been spiritual watering holes for centuries. We also design and lead short retreats for leadership development, helping community organizations, churches or groups re-imagine and revitalize their work.
Are you interested in joining a pilgrimage yourself? Let us know. Each year we take groups to ancient sites of pilgrimage and transformation.
See “Services” tab for more information on pilgrimages 2020.
